The gaitan (overflow sitting area) at Great River Zendo doubles as a small and intimate art gallery. It has roughly 200 sq. ft. of well-lit white walls for shows that revolve monthly. The Gallery is a community resource, showing work of sangha members and friends of the Zendo, primarily from the Mid Coast Maine region. It is open to the public for show openings and by appointment.
